Figurative oil paintings are what drew me back to fine art as a practice a few years ago.  Figurative artists working today inspire me, and I am so lucky that many of them are willing to share their knowledge. 

 

As I continue to learn classical methods of painting, I explore subject matter that is compelling to me.  I am a mother living in East Tennessee, and both childhood and nature play an important role in my art.
